Participation Guidelines & Eligibility

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, participants in the Five Church Walk must be able to complete at least one section. It is advised that Partially sighted walkers bring a walking Buddy for support and All terrain Buggy users check route accessibility before the day. Children under 16 should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We kindly ask all walkers to respect the natural surroundings, follow marked routes, and be mindful of all the walkers around you whilst keeping your dog on a lead and in control.

Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for woodland paths. Take plenty of water with you, you can top it up at each church.

What to Bring & Expect

Get ready for the day with our checklist and support. From what shoes to wear to refreshments along the route, we make sure you’re prepared and comfortable.

✓ Checklist recommended – Comfy and sturdy footwear, rucksack, water container, basic First Aid kit, fully charged phone, wildlife or bird song ID apps. not forgetting your faithful hound who will be totally engaged with all that’s going on.
